New Order - “The Perfect Kiss”

Maybe my favorite music video ever. The band doing the damn thing live in the studio (including the frog sounds). This needle drop in Marty Supreme hit hard.

Loose Change - “Straight From The Heart”

It would be a little embarrassing that I first heard this track through the Discolexic edit, but that track is intoxicatingly hypnotic and infectiously joyful. Just so happens the original is also a banger. I almost played this twice last time I was at Jumpsuit.

Alisha - “All Night Passion”

One fun part of digging for 70s and 80s dance music is the emotional first person historical accounts in the comments. This track has attracted some great ones because the song is phenomenal. I’ve said this before, but freestyle would get my vote for best genre ever, or at least top 5.
